Variables: NUMBER of VICTIMS..... Jews:
As many as 6 million. Homosexuals: 5,000-15,000 of which an undetermined
number were political prisoners falsely accused of homosexuality.
Variables: % OF POPULATION SENT TO CONCENTRATION CAMPS..... Jews:
Up to 85% of all Jews in Germany and German occupied countries. Homosexuals:
Less than 1% of European homosexuals were interned. Over 90% of German
homosexuals served the Third Reich.
Variables: % SENT TO CAMPS OF THOSE WHO WERE ARRESTED..... Jews:
Virtually 100% of Jews were arrested and interned in extermination camps.
Homosexuals: Of homosexual arrests for sex crimes or political reasons
at most 10-15% led to internment in work camps.
Variables: DESTINATION UPON ARREST..... Jews: One of six death camps:
Auschwitz-Birkenau, Sobibor, Chelmno, Balzec, Maidenek, and Treblinka.
Homosexuals: Most pink triangle prisoners (homosexuals) were sent to one
of 10,000 work camps.
Variables: REASON FOR ARREST..... Jews: Genocide. Jews were targeted
for extermination. Compare to Gypsies, Slavs and other ethnic groups. Homosexuals:
Criminal acts. Homosexuals were generally arrested for violations of anti-sodomy
laws which pre-dated the Nazi regime. Compare to pickpockets, blackmailers
and other behavioral gorups.
Variables: NUMBER WHO DIED IN THE CAMPS..... Jews: As many as 6
million. Homosexuals: Probably less than 6,000.
Variables: CAUSE OF DEATH..... Jews: Mass execution by firing squad,
gas chambers, etc. Homosexuals: Starvation, disease, mistreatment by guards.
Homosexuals were never targeted for extermination.
Variables: CHANCE OF RELEASE..... Jews: Jews had almost no chance
of release. Homosexuals: Homosexuals were released at the completion of
their sentences. Many gained early release by convincingly renouncing homosexuality
or by volunteering for military service.
Variables: USE IN MEDICAL EXPERIMENTS..... Jews: Jews were used
as guinea pigs in horrific experiments which usually resulted in mutilation
or death. Homosexuals: Experimentation on homosexuals was to increase the
breeding population. Some received a surgical implant designed to increase
male hormone levels; some were castrated; some were forced to have sex
with female prostitutes. Death was rare and unintended.
Variables: PUNISHMENT FOR HARBORING..... Jews: Punishment for harboring
Jews was death. Homosexuals: There was no punishment for harboring homosexuals.
Many homosxuals were granted immunity from arrest because of friendships
with Nazi leaders.
Variables: REPRESENTATION IN POPULATION OF CONCENTRATION CAMP GUARDS.....
Jews: There were no Jewish guards in the concentration camps. Homosexuals:
There were a great many homosexual guards in the camps.
Variables: SHARE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE HOLOCAUST..... Jews:
The Jews were not in any way responsible for the Holocaust. Homosexuals:
Homosexuals played a large part in the formation and development of the
Nazi Party. A disproportionately large number of homosexuals served in
high positions close to Adolf Hitler throughout the Third Reich, even after
the assassination of Ernst Roehm and his loyalists.
Variables: USE OF HOLOCAUST "VICTIM STATUS" AS A POLITICAL
TOOL..... Jews: The Jews do not flaunt the yellow star or otherwise
exploit the Holocaust for political gain. Homosexuals: Homosexual activists
have made the pink triangle the very symbol of their movement. They constantly
invoke the "Gay Holocaust" myth as a justification for their
political agenda.
Variables: RELATIONSHIP OF HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL SPONSORS AND BENEFACTORS
TO VICTIMS.... Jews: Jewish sponsors and benefactors of Holocaust memorials
are often the surviving family members of victims. Those who are not relatives
still share a 6,000 year ethnic and cultural heritage. Homosexuals: The
only bond that links homosexuals in today's movement to homosexual Holocaust
victims is the common practice of sodomy and the shared sense of social
ostracism because of it.
