This list represents some of the very finest in gem crystals collected over the past 20 years, along with a couple of newer acquisitions. Many are unique and worthy of the finest collection either private or museum. The descriptions are less comprehensive as they are only available through this web site. The pictures speak for themselves.

Aquamarine Fighar, Pakistan (6.3x1.3x1 cm-119.8 carats)
Doubly terminated light blue. This crystal is completely clean except for ghostly shimmering inclusions running across the crystal for the entire length. Unique.

Medina, M.G., Brazil (7x5x1.6x1 cm-129.8 carats)
A mint green crystal but not an aqua. Eye clean with a tiny wisp of veiling and a twin 40% at the base. Very fine color and luster.

M.G., Brazil (7.1x2.4x1.5cm-192.9 carats)
A medium blue etched scepter. The scepter top is .6cm and looks like a Napoleonic cap perched on the tapered tip of the main crystal and is colorless. A very collectible piece.

Morganite Corrego Do Urucum, Galilea, M.G., Brazil (7x5.9x3.5cm-225 grams)
Warm pink from a very well known find. The crystal has light veiling throughout and some small black Tourmaline inclusions on one side and a trace of calcite.

A well formed light yellow crystal with light veiling throughout and the main or pinacoid face has an interesting rainbow effect from some invisible interference under the face.

A well shaped crystal with great color and eye clean with some light veiling in the bottom half. A real winner.

More toward the green than yellow with the top half being flawless and with lightly etched sides.

A fine alluvial crystal that would cab nicely but has a good bipyramidal form.

Ruby, Wet Loo, Mogok, Myanmar (3.5x2x2.3cm-253.4 carats)
Also slightly alluvial but with much better color and a modified barrel form. A very large and collectible Ruby from this most famous locale.

Sapphire yellow (3.2x2x1.9cm-39.6 carats)
High luster and perfect form distinguish this crystal. Terminations have some clarity but otherwise heavily included.

Translucent with some blue zoning and one corner is clean enough to get a gorgeous 1+ carat stone, possibly a star.

This magnificent specimen illustrates why these Amethyst are considered among the very best in the world. Magnificent royal purple swirls like smoke through the center of these gem-grade crystals that have clear, colorless, perfect terminations.

"blue" (6.5x3.5x3cm-79 grams)
Greyish-blue fill the bottom of this perfectly terminated and flawless crystal. The swirls of tourmaline that rise into the transparent, sharply chiseled termination give this quartz it's 'blue' designation. A classic crystal.

A perfectly formed crystal that is colorless with a blush of pink at the termination. The luster is satiny which gives the crystal a sleepy look. A beautiful crystal.

Pink base to this super specimen. Termination is lightly etched and traces of cookite still adhere a little here and there.

3-30. TOURMALINE
S.W. Yunan Province, China (6x2.5x1.8cm-66 grams)
Light lime green with a lightly etched pinacoid termination with darker green capping the crystal. Two sides have good luster and the third is very lightly etched. The color is what makes this specimen outstanding.

3-31. TOURMALINE
Sapo, M.G., Brazil (9x1.5x1.5cm-256.25 carats)
Indicolite crystal that shades from light blue at the base to peacock blue at the termination. The termination is quite clean and would yield a large stone with minimal inclusions.

Rubellite (6.5x3.3x2.8cm-112 grams)
Very rich pink-red with a forest green cap and touches of green running lengthwise on the crystal. Needs good light to be fully appreciated, but a killer crystal.
